Vestal Virgins: A New Play By Talia Frank-Stempel

In ancient Rome (with a contemporary twist), four girls are chosen to serve as Vestal Virgins—tasked with keeping the sacred flame of Vesta alive by preserving their chastity. They live in rare independence, revered as symbols of purity and power. But with that honor comes a brutal price: if they break their vows, they’re buried alive.

Darkly funny, deeply human, and blasphemously bold—Vestal Virgins rips the veil off one of history’s most misunderstood sisterhoods.

Starring: Madeline Egan Addis as Vi, Annika Cowles as Percy, Cat Yamashita as Vesta, and Annie Martino as June.
